Vintage Muhammad Ali Cassius Clay autographs

I'm always interested in seeing vintage Ali autos, especially from the 1960's. I wanted to share a few from my collection.

WOW! Even nicer than the Andre autos. That first piece is real kewl ... don't think you will find many documents around today with THREE Cassius Clay autos! I have only one Ali, but compared to your stuff it's nothing! LOL



You may want to contact fellow board member Shawn (Scashaggy) who is probably one of the most knowledgeable Clay/Ali autograph guys around. He also has a HUGE collection of them.

KNAPP ... that Napkin auto is unreal.

I have seen him sign "Cassius Clay"; Cassius Marcellus Clay"; "Cassius X"; Muhammad Ali but NEVER "CASSIUS X CLAY".

How long ago did you acquire it? Would you mind saying what you paid? What do you think its value is today?

I think Knapp has some of the coolest autographs around....unreal.

Thanks Rob, I have a lot more stuff, mostly boxing and wrestling. I used to do the baseball thing, but it got boring seeing the same things over and over. Doug, I paid $700 a few years ago at auction for the Ali Clay x napkin. I thought it was going to cost me around $1500, but I think I got a good deal. It is also certified by JSA.

Just scanning a few days back and saw 'Ali' and thought I might take a look.

Those are some nice pieces KNAPP.

I don't have too many vintage Clay autographs (3 I think), I do have some vintage (60's) Ali's. I also have several modern Clays, AKA Clay, and a few other Ali autographs.

Raiders get your money back on this one. I can easily tell from the bad pic that the Ali is bad. It's a south Florida forgery and a bad one at that. The forger made up his own Ali graph instead of using an authentic exemplar to copy from.

Took the pic. that was in there out and put the Ali in it.I got the Ali in a large collection
