Can someone explain this one to me

Ebay auction is for a 1982 Donruss Cal Ripken Sr. PSA 8 card. Either this is a fluke, or two people were seeing who had deeper pockets. The pop report shows it as 6 PSA 8s and 3 PSA 9s.
I don't have VCP so Im not sure if this is normal for this card. Anybody got insight as to why it went so high?

The buyer has a ton of feedback as well. Someone needs to contact him and see what else he is looking for!

I have an auction that has turned out like this, although it is not a sports card. I am anxious to see if the buyer will follow through after the bidding war is over. It makes you wonder if there is something that you are missing!
