Nice cards. I need to submit some autos to PSA sometime. Plus I have a Kirby Puckett rookie auto that needs to be reslabbed.

    Very nice returns ... CONGRATS!

I had no idea so I am sure others have no idea either:
Uļjana Semjonova (Russian: Ульяна Ларионовна Семенов&#1072image, (born March 9, 1952 in village Medumi, Daugavpils District, Latvia) is a retired Soviet Latvian basketball player.

Standing at 2.13 m (7 ft 0 in) Semjonova was the leading women's basketball player in the world in the 1970s and 1980s. Wearing a men's size 21 (US) / 58 (EU) shoe, she was known for having the largest feet ever in women's basketball. For almost all of her playing career, she played for TTT Riga, which was part of Daugava Voluntary Sports Society. With TTT, she won 15 championships in the Soviet Union and the European Champion's Cup 15 times. Semjonova was also very dominant in international play, winning two Olympic Gold medals while playing for the USSR in 1976 and 1980 and never lost a game in official international competition.

She was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour in 1976 and in 1993 became the first non-US woman enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame. She was an inaugural member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in the class of 1999. In 2007, she was enshrined in the FIBA Hall of Fame. During the 2007 Latvian Sports personality of the year award ceremony, Semjonova received the Lifetime Contribution to Sport award.
    STAY HEALTHY!

    Doug

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I've never sent in any autographed cards for slabbing so please forgive me for not knowing. But, what is the difference between red flip and blue flip? They both show PSA/DNA certified and Authentic. The only difference I see is one says Authentic Auto, and the other only says Authentic.

    Thanks for the info!

  • Red flips guarantee the authenticity of the card as well as the autograph. Blue flips only guarantee the authenticity of the autograph.

Ok thank you! Is one more desirable than the other? Just as an example, if I had some mid-80's autographed cards, would there be a reason to use one service over the other? I notice lots of different years in your scans. Why did you decide to do some red and some blue? I'm simply picking your brain so I can make the right decision when I finally dig out a pile of my old auto cards to send in.

    Thanks for your info already!

I prefer Red Flips because you can create an Auto Set on the regular PSA Registry versus the seldom utilized and less expansive for issues PSA/DNA Registry. Until recently, you could also use them in the basic Registry, but now, they are Auto set exclusive... An AUTHENTIC counts as a PSA 1 on the Registry. Currently, I'm working on my 1948 Leaf Football Autograph Set and still have a few more to get slabbed and others to crossover from Blue Flips.

I'd be interested if you wanted to move one of the Sabonis cards. No worries if not.

  • My wife you used to make lampwork beads when I started on Ebay, but Pandora jewelry drove the lampwork beads prices into the ground.
I might list one of the Sabonis' SP on ebay.
