More Prayers and good thoughts for Tony (fiveniner) needed.

Hey guys ... as most of you know by now, Tony's wife, Annie, passed away from Cancer earlier this year. Tony just informed me that he has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Thankfully it is in its early stages. He will be going in for an operation in January and he hopes the doctors can remove all the Cancer. He is upbeat and positive about the procedure.

Tony, you are in my prayers my friend!

    I read this yesterday and I had to read Dougs post twice because I was just in disbelief. I didnt know what to write except that it was something that could be of comfort to you. Im still at a loss for words here and even though I'm not a praying man, you have most certainly been in my thoughts in the last 24 hrs since word broke of this. I wish you the best and I look forward to meeting you in Chicago even if its just to say hello.

    Tony,
    Take care my friend. I'd like to offer a little bit of advice if I could. I just battled the past 12 months with cancer, 2 surgeries and 4 rounds of chemo therapy. I really think what got me through was my faith and also this very important thing.......I just looked straight ahead...not behind or to the sides. What I mean by this////piles of medical bills were mounting, normal stresses of life still existed, marriage and kids, job pressures...all of that. I said to myself that I was going to only focus on my health and worry about everything else when I'm feeling better and it made this easier. Take care.

    Don't know you, Tony, but I don't need to. I caught a glimpse of your character a few days ago, and that left an indelible mark in my mind. Daily thoughts and prayers going out, brother.
