Can You Use eBay Shipping Labels for non-eBay Sales?

Can eBay shipping labels be created and used for shipments that aren't for goods sold on eBay? I searched around but couldn't find an answer for this.

Edited to add: I noticed after my post you said ebay shipping. I am not sure I go to Paypal site and create label from there.

You can also purchase postage online directly from the USPS https://cns.usps.com/go. I use this to print postage for sending packages to family or other transactions where I did not receive money through paypal.

I think the postage is higher if you go directly through the USPS site though
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY
  • USPS is higher.

Log into Paypal. Go to merchant services. At the bottom is manage my shipments. Create from there.

I also use the Paypal shipping tool to print mailing labels. I print on paper and attach to package. Note: do not completely tape over the bar code.

Thanks for all your replies. Gopherfan, I'll give that a try. I went into Paypal to try and print a label but couldn't find a way to do so without the PP transaction having a 'print shipping label' link. I'll give it a try the next time I have non-eBay items to ship.

When I print my non ebay labels I go to the Paypal site and on the far right is a link for multi-order shipping. I just click there and make my labels. Even though it says multi-label, you can do single ones as well.

I did this method for years before someone posted this link:

    Paypal Shipnow

It takes you straight to the shipping page and is much easier to use for single shipments.

That LINK brings me to my LOGIN page. Where do you find "SHIPNOW" on the site? Thanks.

THen if you login it takes you to different page to fill out your label, much easier then going through the Multi-Shipping tab when doing a single Off-Ebay deal shipping!

    Thanks Aric!
