89-90 hoops basketball

Does anyone know anything about the 89-90 Hoops basketball "superstars" cards? It's the same card as the regular 89-90 card but has a yellowish tint color on the card and I'm guessing there are fewer produced then the regular hoops set. I know the regular hoops set was mass produced and is basically garbage, but is the "superstars" variation worth anything?

    Also garbage. Those came in small boxed sets of 100 or so cards.

    Back in 1989 or 1990 I bought about twenty sets for about 50 cents each. Luckily I sold a few Jordans and Robinsons for $3.00 and $5.00 each which covered the cost of all the sets and a little extra. But now, yes junk.

    I believe they have a x2 value, they were JC Penney/Sears catalog sets.
