Flipping through some auctions this evening, I come across this auction
1953 Campy
I look back and find that legacy_consignments purchased this lot in October.
Altered Lot
Just a heads up for everyone.

Does anyone know this seller's name, email, etc., so I can avoid. >>
Why in the F k do many buyers think that every nice looking raw vintage star card has some hidden flaw???????

Tony,
The card was mentioned by the previous seller that it came back altered from PSA. No mention of such from this seller.
ETA: I give the previous seller "slabbed", huge props for this write-up. Not sure how anyone could be more honest.
" 1953 Topps Brooklyn Dodgers collecttion of four cards:
These cards all have fantastic eye appeal, but at least two have been altered and they all came from the same collection
Campanella PSA graded recolored. The card appeared Nm/Mt+ subsequent to the PSA rejetion we scratched off the added color. It now appears to be borderline NM but we do not assume it to be gradeable
high #272 Bill Antonello looks almost MINT. We have not had it graded and we are not positive but w believe there maybe color added to the bottom left corner
#81 Joe Black is similar in condition and suspect color as the Antonello
#137 John Rutherford appears Nm/Mt PSA says color added and we believe they are correct."

I agree that "slabbed" did the right thing with that description but...
You may want to do some research and I'll leave it at that.

Ahhhhhhhhh....it appears "slabbed" isn't without it's problems perhaps.

Levi where is my picture of you wearing a stupid hat trying to push your cards at a Show!

His negs appears to be displeasure about another grading company not grading a card that was cracked out?? How is that the sellers fault. The buyer purchased a graded card and cracked it out. As far as I am concerned, all bets are off once the buyer does that.
