"Former three-time world boxing champion Hector "Macho" Camacho is brain dead following a drive-by shooting in Puerto Rico, a doctor said on Thursday.
Relatives are expected to decide on Thursday whether to remove Camacho, 50, from life support, said Dr. Ernesto Torres, director of the Rio Piedras Medical Center in Puerto Rico."

I saw this yesterday. Very sad. They found a bunch of cocaine in the car so it might have been a drug deal gone bad or something.

There is a picture of the scene and the driver is face down on the concrete dead.

Hector was always known as a coke head and of questionable character. It's sad to hear the news but I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't surprised. Finding coke in the car just validates.

I just flipped through the 1997 Brown's Boxing set I have and it appears his rookie card came from that set.

Does anyone know if he is in any of the earlier sets? Thanks.
