Lefty Grove items in Collect Auctions

I thought you guys might be interested in a few of the Lefty Grove items we have in our current auction. Bidding ends Nov. 29. There's Grove's lifetime pass and his 300th Win radio given to him by his teammates in 1941. Here's an image picturing Grove with the radio in his home (circa 1942 Sporting News).

  • Nice auction. Is the vending and other unopened material from Frisch?
  • I can't really comment on who consigned what items. Bidding for the auction ends this Thursday. link to catalog

If so, the dude's got a strange looking nose/ear or other body part! LOL

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Yes, that's what it means. There haven't been many of these sold since each is a 1/1 and only select players got them.

Ha ha on the crime scene photos. Not sure what that is.

When that photo was used in a publication years ago that portion was cut out. Since it is odd shaped it was most likely ad space for some type of logo. Publication space was never wasted and every inch was used to the fullest.
