<< <i>Very nice! What did it go to get the "A"? Did someone give it a haircut? It presents very nice, congrats! >>
You beat me to it!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I have heard of comic book restorers, but never card restorers. Dick Towle works on cards, but he doesn't restore them. He just takes away things that shouldn't be there to begin with. Whoever worked on that Mantle looks to be very skilled at color touch-ups, and he also did a fabulous job with tape removal.
Wow the difference is amazing. Being that it would have received a 1, who cares about altering it for the A to make it look MUCH nicer for your collection. One of my favourite cards of all time.

Actually the right corner was trimmed prior to restore..So an Authentic was my best option.

Levi, I only sent it to SGC due to the next day special. Thanks for your interest.

They do good work but charge an arm and a leg. They did not work on this card nor did Dick.
