2012 Topps Five Star baseball box break

Hi,

Just wanted to share my Five Star baseball break.

A friend of mine talked me into a case. I told him it is crazy money for modern junk.
$1137 for 18 cards. I told him I could almost buy a 1975 Topps mini box for that price or a nice Jim Brown rookie.
He laughed and said what do you want with those old guys.

Well I opened the first box and sent him a text and a pic of two old guys. Ha Ha Ha.
I may not open the other two boxes now. A couple of times I was about to send a card to Nolan Ryan Foundation to get autographed so this was a nice pull.

Hope you enjoy them, Did anyone else break this stuff?

Nice cards, but looks like some more examples of Topps Five Star cards coming damaged right out of the pack

Yup, The price is nuts.

I bought the case to bust so I will probably break into the other two boxes tomorrow.

Hoping for a couple of keepers to add to the Nolan Ryan.

Unless I get lucky I will probably lose 2-300 on the case.

I busted 2 cases as well, and stopped there. Didn't want to do anymore. Fun break. Maybe I'll scan mine in. I also received a Nolan Ryan Auto, mine was just numbered with his jersey number! Will bring a little extra premium. I'd say you did real well, and that booklet will be Awesome!! Thanks for sharing...
