I know one is a Hibernia Halfpenny - that's a legit colonial coin, correct? Does anyone know what the other one is?

Good For You! Old copper is addictive. Learning about it takes more than a lifetime and start gathering your reference books. Breens Encyclopedia is fantastic with colonials. The new Whitman book is also a must have. Your second piece is a contemporary counterfeit. These pieces circulated along with Regal Coinage. They are fascinating and most are documented. You have left the world of slabs, first strikes, milk spots and plus grades. You have entered the world of sailing ships, oxen and hearth cooked meals.. Enjoy!
