Where was it sold for 40k? 1/400 books total?
Was it a charity event? Or was that a retail sticker on this thing? Crazy looking book!
  • they only made 400 of them....

its freakin huge, it dominates any table

    trump bought one, nfl owners....etc....

celebs own around half of them.....

all the mvp's signed it but harvey martin ( deceased )

I think these have huge upside

There was one for sale locally here a year or so ago through craigslist. I talked to the guy about it some and got additional pictures but in the end never pulled the trigger. If I remember correctly he wanted like 3500 for it. My only interest was to flip it and I was worried the market would be so limited for it I would have to sit on it for a while. That said I wont be surprised if this one goes for a price that has me kicking myself.
  • I think it will go for between 2600- 4000
most likely in the 3K range....
most of these are in celebs hands and they typically have no need to sell....
very few have ever been auctioned.....

Is that Reggie Bush who's posing with it? If so, it seems like they could have gotten a more distinguished player to participate in the photo-op.

I guess for me seeing the sigs all on one page is rather boring. If I am going to drop $4,000 on something like this I would want to able to display the auto's better. That is the tough part with a book, very difficult to display which is why it is selling for 10% of it original price. I like the helmets that were signed at the same time better. Easier to display and you can see all the autos without having the shot at damaging the item. Each time a page is turned it could rip etc.

Cool item, just not my cup of tea for the $$$.
  • ends tonight !!
I am NOT looking forward to ship this beast....

I was spot on on my guess. $3550 is a bit under 10%
