Dropping out of the 1973 Topps Baseball Race

I'm sad to say that I'm dropping out of the 1973 Topps Baseball race. I have had an excellent chance to pick up some 1970, 1972, 1974 Topps Baseball cards and 1972 Topps Football cards. With these recent purchases, my cash flow has halted!!! Therefore I have listed over 200 1973 Topps Baseball cards on eBay eBay Link to my auctions I also have a nice PSA 8 Mike Schmidt Rookie.

Anyways...

With 3 set already at 100% I wanted to try to finish the following sets before the NATIONAL in Chicago.

My set completing priorities are as follows:

1972 Topps Baseball
1972 Topps Football
1972 Topps Basketball
1970 Topps Baseball
1971 Topps Basketball
1974 Topps Basketball

It will be sad to see my 1973 Cards go...this set was really starting to grow on me.

Carlos, thats understandable. I've done that route several times too! Bailed on a set to go for the bigger priority. At least you can assemble the '73 set at a later date if you so desire. Good luck with your ventures!...jay

Carlos> That is a shame, but at the same time if it means you can do your other sets better then it's probably a good idea. I currently have 40 or so 1959s on eBay right now because it was "a set too far".

I was having a lot of fun with it, but this weekend I will just eclipse 90% complete on the 72 set and want to push that set as well.

It's all about priorities man.
