4 new ones, all large size commemorating an historical event.

1856. Austria. W. Seidan. 80mm Bronze. Erection of the monument commemorating Josef Graf Radetzky von Radetz (1766-1858) in Prague by the Art Association of Bohemia. Obv: Head to the left. Rev: Monument without base in Gothic enclosure between laurel branches and medallions with the names of battles. Donebauer 3695. Wurzbach 7770. Horsky 7564.

1888. Austria. 62mm Bronze. A. Scharff und J. Tautenhayn. Commemorating the 40th jubilee of the Emperor's rule, dedication of the City of Vienna. Obv: Imperial chariot in front of the Vienna City Hall. Rev: Medallion surrounded Franz Josef v. allegorical figures. Hauser 883. Wurzbach 2513.

1908. Austria. Ludwig Hujer. 84mm Bronze. Official Medal of the City of Vienna in homage to the Emperors 60th year jubilee of reign. Obv: Acclamation the Vienna before Parliament. Rev: Vindobona before the Ringstrasse. Hauser 1035. Wurzbach 2036.

Unidentified large/heavy Belgian Table medal (still researching). Thick bronze - obverse depicting Leopold II. Reverse monument of Charlemagne.

    Yes, that Wiener piece (I think the humor is not working; the Vienna medal) is amazing. I would like to see the horse get its own medal. I also wonder about some of the not so obvious iconography.

    Great group there. I'm with everyone else though, the second one overshadows the others.
    Very nice piece.
