Had to share this "blazer"

One of the nicer 9s you will find of this card, as they typically suffer multiple defects such as poor centering, print spots, miscut backs, and surface wrinkles/bumps. Early high grade basketball cards like these are very tough and so undervalued. There are only 59 of this card in a PSA 9 with only 2 PSA 10s.

That is a great card! I think I bought one pack of basketball in '74 and Walton was one of the cards. I still have it but would probably grade around a 3.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    What a beauty!
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

I was thinking the same thing, as the centering on the back is good enough to qualify for a 10 as well. The only thing I can see is a very tiny, light surface stain on the left side of the A in BLAZERS.

Thanks for the comments guys. My earliest memories of watching NBA basketball on TV was the 1977 championship games between the Blazers and 76ers. I recall thinking: who is this huge guy with the red flowing hair for the Blazers scoring on what seemed like every trip down the court?

Not only is it a blazer, but for $135 it was an absolute steal!
