I got lucky with my PSA submissions

I shipped out on Monday, received on Wednesday and all 4 orders logged this morning. There were 2 cc renewal subs, 1 mech error, and 1 crossover sub.

I was very excited to get quick loggage. Now if the grades turn out well that will be a bonus.

they seem to be getting better loggage now. maybe they hired some staff or subs are slowing down a bit.

Sigh. My October submission has not been logged yet.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Seems like it's a crapshoot lately. I've had 45 day subs log and pop in 10 days. 10 day subs take 10 days to log.

    Appreciate today-

    Bill

My last sub took 2 weeks to log so don't worry too much.

I hear what you're saying, but the priorities seem a little backwards to me.

Loggage should happen right away. PSA gets away with a lot of lag time there.
Grades should pop within the service level you paid for.
Grades should be appropriate for the condition.

The bonus should be a quicker turnaround.

  • I'm somewhat convinced that poppage has a lot to do with what types of cards you mix/match when you send in a sub. For example, I've sent in subs of 50 cards of all the same year/type and have consistently gotten my grades very quickly (under 1 1/2 weeks). When I've sent in subs that are mixed (modern/vintage, different sports) I've had subs go the full 45 days. I may be completely wrong but that's been my experience in the past. My pack subs have always taken the full 45 business days(around 2 months).

i totally agree with you. keep the subs the same year and they pop within 2 weeks. mix and match years and sports you are going the whole 45 days plus some.

  • I re-upped my membership and just got grades posted today. Took a little over 2 weeks, but I'm not complaining.

I must have the worst eye for pre-screening my cards though, as most stuff that I think is a solid 9 ends up in an 8 holder.
  • I dropped off two subs at the St Louis show recently. One was a bulk sub, the other, a Cc renewal freebee. Both were logged quickly after the show and the cc freebee was done and shipped a few days later.
