I think it is high-end for a 61. I thought about sending it in for a 62 but there are scattered small marks on each side (seen only with a loupe) and that little dark spot near the obverse rim. Nonetheless, it has glorious luster and lots of eye appeal. As I wrote when I put the coin on the website, I decided that collectors would prefer a high-end coin for the grade rather than a maxed-out slab. Thanks for your comments and I completely agree with you!

Nice looking little bit 'o gold!

Just from the image I could see the $2 landing in an NGC MS63 slab............then try it back in Cali for a cross to a P63.....finally, add a few thousand since they finally got it "right".

One more bump for the New Year and then it goes back to see if a 62 is in its future. Happy New Year everybody!

Bump. OK, I am lazy (well, maybe time-challenged is a better word) but this will eventually be in a 62 holder!
