Ok I just picked up the Jeffersons and told him I'll pass on the rest.

    Yes, those are definitely Henning nickels. The hole in the left leg of R in PLURIBUS is one diagnostic of the later die state. Not sure whether or not there are different reverse dies.

    Can someone please explain to me what a "Henning nickel" is? I can honestly say I've never heard of these...

    I'm assuming they're some sort of cast or struck contemporary counterfeits (period to the time the War Jeffs were being struck). Or perhaps they're restrikes by someone named "Henning"?

    Maybe I'm way off... image

    The 1944 Henning nickels are worth around $35. His other dates, which are much more difficult to find, are worth $250. Other dates are 1939, 1946, 1947, 1953. and one other date, which I believe is 1940.
