So what are some of the more interesting, off beat, coins in your collection?

US Coins primarily, but if you have an interesting non US coin tell us about that also.
For me a few are:
1. A clipped 1969 D Kennedy half;
2. Two die clashed 1965 SMS dimes;
3. A split planchet (reverse side only) Jefferson nickel;
4. A 1963 proof set and a 1964 proof set in OGP with five coins that are Cameo in appearance (two sided frost on the devices and deep mirrored fields; some of the coins may even warrant a Cameo designation);
5. A 1961 DDR proof half dollar (the big one) that may be a Cameo that I found in an OGP set;
6. A 1923 silver coin from Central America (Costa Rica if I recall) with a counterstamp; and
7. A 1944 circulated Walker that has a small hole in it and that has an engraved inscription from a WWII solider (the inscription mentions Hawaii so I suspect the coin was obtained by the solider while on active duty in Hawaii during WWII and that he put the hole in it and used it as a pocket piece or on a key chain). I found it at a local bank branch sitting in a tray of coins including a number of half dollars.
How about you?

Picked up a broadstruck steel cent many years ago. I don't collect errors, but I've always like it.

I try and choose a coin I would normaly not buy for myself... I've won probably 5 or 6 different times, here are some of my choices that have nothing
to do with my collection... just what I found to be interesting.
