the following are the posters who are available to discuss any new forum member questions in public

Ok, I will start. I am available.

but I may not always respond right away as sometimes work (or my wife) keeps me away from these boards!

Sometimes a public Q&A might be best on some topics that may benefit others.

Especially when it comes to Buffalo nickels, I can probably answer most any question you have. And I truly believe there are no dumb questions. We all started at somewhere.

I know it all and I am not telling! image Yeah.....right.

Seriously......of course! Any time on any topic. I am first and foremost a collector (and not just coins). I am always willing to talk coins/collecting topics with anyone. I am by no means an expert on anything but am certainly happy to help out in any way I can.

Honestly, my best advice is don't be afraid to post here. The amount of knowledge and the overall kindness of those who frequent this board is staggering. Dive in!

Always glad to educate new members in the area of Morgan Dollar die varieties (VAMS), SoCalled Dollars, U.S. Mint 18th-19th century medals, and Civil War tokens. I'll discuss freely any area of U.S. if I think I may be of help. image

If you have a question, just post it here and you'll usually get a lot of help. Also, your question may be of interest to many other forum members who didn't think to ask that question.
