My oldest son enlisted in the Army today. Bittersweet day. This came as a surprise to our family but know it is a very good opportunity for him. Very proud of him, just worried. He is a great boy and will represent our country well.

    Please thank him for me when you see him. I am always honored by the great men and women that choose to serve in our armed forces. I have full confidence and trust in our militry's ability to train and develop young people into superb leaders of character.
