1808 O.108 R3 Capped Bust Half Dollar - Bold Details! Tougher Variety!

Graded by NGC as having "VF-Details". No numeric grade assigned due to some shallow, superficial, ancient, toned-over scratches in the obverse-right field that in no way detract from the coin's eye-appeal.
Sports attractive, gunmetal-grey surfaces and very bold details for the "VF" grade assigned. Without the scratches, the coin would easily grade VF35 at our host's firm.
It's an O.108 which is rated as R3 on the URS on a scale of 1-8. So, it's not the scarcest marriage, but it's not the most common either.
