Provenance Research (service?)

Does anyone know if there are provenance research services available? I've been able to track one piece of mine only to the year 2000 and would like to find how far back it's been auctioned but my collection of catalogs is somewhat limited.

I don't know of any such service...but it's an interesting idea.

There are a few dealers and collectors on here who may be able to help you out.

I sold several of my auction catalogs recently...but PM me and I'll see what I can do to help you trace your coin.
