Y/Ns First Coin Show and more - Bellaire Texas - Pictures Added

I took my boys to this show today. I think we have 3 new YN in the Hobby.
I armed them with Whitman folders and gave all three $40 to build thier sets.
My oldest (Nick, age 12), is collecting presidential dollars. After teaching him about Type A & Type B, he was able to find 27 Coins to fill his Whitman.
My youngest (Mark, age 9), is collecting Kennedy Half dollars. He was able to get 25 half dollars including both 64-P & 64-D.
My Nephew (Jacob, age 9), Is collecting Quarters 1999 to present. He got about 65 state quarters.
Next they participated in the Kid Coin Auction. Each kid at the auction recieved a number to bid with and $20 in Bellaire Coin Club money. I told my boys to have patience and wait for their Coins they saw in the display case. The Coins they wanted were toward the end of the auction, so some of the other kids already spent their auction bucks.
Nick got some ancient Roman Coins and grabbed a 1980 Proof set. But his best score was a 1989 Commemorative space flight.
Mark had scouted out some Kennedy halfs that were in mint sets. He even got a 2009 mint sealed Lincoln cent roll. Overall he added another 6 Kennedy half dollars.
Jacob, was able to get the entire 1999-D quarter uncirculated set. He got other Coins too.
We left the coin show to get some food and then went to U.S. Coin. I gave each kid $15 to get more Coins for their collections.
Nick was able to get some more presidential dollars.
Mark found a proof 69DCAM.
Jacob was able to clean up here. In the $1.50 Bin he was able to get 10 sets of P&D state quarters.
I puchased 4 books for them to read.
When we got back home, I helped Nick fill his Whitman.
Overall it was a great day. They are excited about the hobby and want to do more.
