What type of Gold coins do I have here.

I got these that i plan on selling but wanted to get a little info before I go about selling them . From what I saw was its a 22k coin about .2344 troy Oz. But I want to check with you guys and gals and get more info.

if its a fake and 22kt, doesnt really matter. Priced at gold anyway. If the one rare date, then yes.

However, since I have opened my shop, I have had several come in that are made with less than 22k gold, like around 14-18kt (these fakes are worth considerably less, and literally have to be bought and sold as scrap.

There are many types of British coins, in various metals & denominations.
It's all greek to me.

1891 London sovereign and a 1918 Perth (Australia) sovereign. Both look genuine to me and they contain 0.2354 ozt of pure gold, or AGW. AS others have stated, they are strictly bullion in the condition shown. There are several better dates in the series, but those two are common. Just above the middle two digits of the date, buried in the "earth" is where you will find the mint mark.

don't know dark side, but always liked the first design, the Reverse. It looks a nice coin - St. George slaying a dragon or who ever/whatever. I'd keep it were it me - it's pretty. I like the one with George V, but that stain...

Numisma is right on.... Both look genuine, but usually worth less than melt.

I have had trouble selling them in the past due to prolific counterfeiting of the 1918 in particular.
Consider yourself well sold if you get 95% of spot.

Aren't those Sovereign's collected by die number?

No. The sovereigns collected by die number are the ones that have ... well, die numbers on them. The 1863-74 British sovereigns with Shield reverse.
