Is Secure slab of a higher quality slab (optically) than non-secure?

I haven't used the Secure Plus service until now and was immediately struck by the pristine quality of this slab. Absolutely none of the scratches or blemishes I normally see on brand new slabs.


edit to add:

I carried it in me pocket last night out to dinner & it still looks pristine. It is almost like the upgrade NGC plastique in terms of hardness and clarity. Maybe a new Conder Generations # is in order

The insert would need be the only modification.

Apparently, they are no longer permitted to use recently slabbed coins as poker chips for the after work card game.

Don't think so I just got one in and had to polish it before imaging as it had picked up a mark on both the front and back while in the dealers case.
This was a little older all blue insert secure slab.

In my experience, most of the marks and scuffs on slabs occur in transit and can be avoided by careful packaging.
