Is this just a common Bust and Harp token, or could it possible be a Blacksmith token BL-35A2? How can you tell the difference?

    Hi Don,

    Yours is LC60E2, BH01, rarity 1.

Check page 225 of Charlton 8th edition for the BL and compare to page 161.

    Gene,
I tried to compare the two and to my eye I can't see a difference but I have little doubt mine is common. I'm using Carlton's Canadian Tokens, 2nd ed.

    Don,
There is also a catalogue that came out in 2004 by Greg Ingram & Branko Marelic for the Bust & Harp series. It has large color photos of each variety. Well worth the $50.

I would also recommend getting the 8th edition of Charlton. Lots of new info in it along with some updated / better quality photos.
