I just joined this message board, I've learned so much from the posts thanks everybody, mostly Jacksoncoupage if I didn't run across his blog one day about a year ago I wouldn't be here. I'm 100 boxes through 140 boxes 1990-91 pro set hockey because of your Paul Gillis and Mike Krushelnski blog post. (Thanks alot).

  • Yeah, I try to make myself open a box or two a week now. I've recycled about half the 90-91 pro set run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know nothing about 1990 Topps but I want to know how many Stanley Cup holograms you've pulled.
  • none I think it was 1 every 10 to 20 cases I've only been through 5+. (for hockey) every 10 for 90 football

  • Don't forgot to also look for Aaron Broten's card #131 (North Stars) with a small Stanley Cup icon printed by his face on back. It's certainly as rare as either of those, if not rarer than the Krushelnyski, at least.

Also, there are a handful of other variations I am looking for if you are interested in helping with, I can PM you my list.

    Thanks!

  • I think I have the arron broten I'll scan it when I get off work and send it to you to see if its the card. I'm not sure how the PM works it's now on in my profile so try to send your list.

    Thanks Tim

Sounds like you like to rip a bunch of stuff why not rip that case and see what you get.
  • I'm through three and a half boxes now I'll finish the case and hope for the best. I really just wanted to know what the date was of the blackless cases.
