  • It could well be. After seeing Lincolns beard, Georges hair, and the way other coins have been "rearranged" these last years - I think you are quite right. I agree - this design has some thought and is pleasant to look upon. Decent use of space, esp. the Obverse. Not crazy about the Rev. at all, but the Obv. design is very, very strong.

    I appreciate what you're saying, but to me, anything made in the last 20 years or so looks like a video game token to me.

    I think we're a bit too close to this familiar design to appreciate it, but I love the look!
