OT...1000th post...Reflect

I never payed any attention to my post count but I realized this is # 1000
I just got back from my moms calling hours a little while ago. She passed away this past Saturday . I am not
looking for sympathy or thoughts as much as I am looking for reflection.
It dawned on me while saying my last goodbyes that time goes by much too fast . I think as we all get older
we have a tendency to let work and kids and life in general get in the way of family and friends. As I looked
around the room tonight I saw cousins that were best friends at a younger age . I saw Aunts and Uncles we
used to hang out with on a weekly basis . It really did make me even more sad to think WHY ? Why is it that
we dont visit or hang out anymore
I may be rambling but what Im trying to say is , take a moment and think about those family members and friends
you used to hang out with . Maybe you could give them a call . Maybe get together for coffee and talk about
old times.
Just take a minute and REFLECT and ask yourself why cant it be like it was . Dont take family for granted , it may
end up being too late . Thanks for reading.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
