Home Buy, Sell & Trade - Cards & Memorabilia

FS: BASKETBALL: 1986-1988 Fleer & 1976 Topps NM/MT or Better MORE PICS ADDED

I posted a week or so ago about a collection I bought from a collector in which he opened boxes in the late 80's and stuck them directly into sleeves. As a result, the cards are in amazing condition. I finally sorted through everything and have singles and sets for sale. The cards are in amazing condition, a lot of them MINT or close to it with some GEM's here and there. The pics below are some of the cards I just pulled out to show examples of condition. I will list below what I have. If you are looking to complete a set, lmk. I will try to pick out of the best centered and best condition ones from what I have. I am putting a minimum of $25 purchase via paypal gift. Really don't want to do small couple dollar deals. I can send you pics before purchase.

  • I could use some commons to finish a set. Let me know what you have after pulling the 9 and 10 material.

I recently had my set graded (minus the stars, which were already sold) by PSA for the purpose of selling it. I suggest you sub, one sub at a time, in at least 2 or 3 groups. This allows you to crack and re-sub as you go, and also minimizes your chances of getting slammed overall. Of course this isn't answer if you need a quick flip, but doing it this way worked well for me. Good luck.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

For 86 fleer, ungraded raw commons may net you $1 each. 87 fleer even less. I think the 87s are undervalued. There just seems to be no interest in the set. The 86 Erving looks nice. I don't see many of the others netting a 9 due to centering. image

I'd grade the 87 Jordan unless you see something on the surface or bottom right corner that may keep it out of a 9 holder.

    How are the 70s?

    Thanks,

I sold my complete 87-88 Fleer BB set, which was all PSA 10, except for 9 cards (Bird was not a 10) for $4750. I agree, the set it undervalued, and some of the cards are very tough to get in PSA 10. I opened a few wax boxes from BBCE, and ended up with a bunch of PSA 9's. I would say for every 100 card lot I sent in, I would be very, very luck to get (10) PSA 10's.
