Bust Dime GTG - ***Grade POSTED***

This is a NewP I picked up yesterday from the Post Office. I will post the TPG grade tomorrow morning.
Liberty's Bust, especially her nose, shows strong strike doubling, which is pretty scarce on Bust Dimes!
For some reason it wasn't easy to photograph this piece, but I think it still came out pretty well.
Also included are 3 examples of the very rare Terminal Die State of this Die Marriage!
Grade Posted
IMO, I call this piece an AU-55 as the majority of you did. There is ample luster (not well captured in my pics) and great toning.
When I get my next PCGS Submission together this will be sent in

Guess The Grade
1833 JR-1

I voted au58.
"“Those who sacrifice liberty for security/safety deserve neither.“(Benjamin Franklin)
"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)
My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.
I'm seeing an AU53-55. I voted 55. I see the start of the cud on the reverse.
Nice pickup Mr. Z. You are finding some sweet newps.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Beautiful Bustie!
<< <i>Where is the strike doubling that you mentioned on the first example? >>
It doesn't show well in this photo (due to its somewhat small size), but look at the left
part of the nose which extends to the left field. There is a distinct white line (reflection)
running NNE/SSW on the left end of the nose. This is the edge of the nose's design,
but there is a little raised metal to the left of that white line which is the strike doubled
portion of the nose.
Liberty's neck also shows a very slight indication of strike doubling.

I wonder if it is actually a lower mint state example. Very cool coin.

<< <i>I'm in the AU55 camp.

I agree with Father Time.

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !

<< <i>I see flat areas only on the eagle's claws, which are opposite Liberty's head, and no flat areas on the eagle's wings. So I'm voting 63.

So you're the other 63 voter. I'm glad that I'm not asked to be a grader.
The TPG grade has at least one vote. I will reveal the actual grade tomorrow morning.
I don't agree with the actual TPG grade and voted here differently, and it seems the majority of you think so as well!
