anyone also having problems with the site here?

sometimes It does not connect at all, just keeps spinning.
other times I want to post and , like earlier, it post 2 or 3 times.
just wondering if it is my computer ot if it is the site?

I'm using it just fine. I think you should check for virus or your internet connection.

definitely NO virus and high speed connection.
Only site I have issues with.
Maybe it is the browser I use (firefox)?
will change to another and see.

I can no longer attach image files. I can upload them, but the "attach" function never works.

I normally use Firefox exclusively, but I've found myself recently having to use Internet Explorer on this site for certain things. For example, the advanced search function will not work for me with Firefox (and many others, there are older threads about it on the Liteside) but it works in IE.

Try IE or another browser besides FF and see if that is the issue.

Yesterday I have removed the
"ASK.COM" toolbar (which is not easy to do) and everything seems to work much faster and easier. A friend suggested to me that this comes with JAVA and if you forget to UNCLICK it when upgrading Java, it hides in your PCV and wants to become YOUR #! browser / search engine. and is plays havoc with your searches.
so far, so good.
but whoever has it might be well advised to remove it. It does not remove easy on some machines and you have to go through some hoops and loops.
