Was reading some vintage Numismatist mags tonight.
One article was interesting, asking collectors to be on the lookout for certain stolen coins.

This came in handy when the duPonts' Linderman Specimen 1804 dollar came into ANACS and I identified it from the picture in "The Fantastic 1804 Dollar," because the book was published in 1962 and made no mention of the robbery. Because of David T. I knew the coin was hot, and tipped off Ed Rochette that it was in the building.
