OT...the new jewel of my collection

Well I have just sold off my last few hockey cards and used the funds to purchase this...my new favorite piece.

It's an original page from Batman #398 in pencil and ink. Can't wait to get it framed and on the wall.

Don't skimp out on museum quality matting (verify it's acid free) and glass, it makes a big difference with comic art.

    Wow! Congratulations Matt!

I have a soft spot for pen & ink artwork - and that one is superb.

Please show off the final product. I agree on insuring someone who knows what they're doing on the matting/framing.

    Thanx for sharing.

Thanks all. I am very excited about the art.

I just recently completed my run of Batman comics from the year and month of my birth (issue 270) to present (issue 713). This artwork is from one of those issues and to say I am thrilled is an understatement. I will be looking in the future to pick up some more art and eventually buy back my hockey card collection but this Batman run just too precedence.

Glad you got something that is so important to you, but kind of sad to hear you got rid of that Shanahan rookie I sold to you. Best of luck in your collecting!!

I also sold off a lot of my hockey cards to focus my collecting interest.

(I joined the board since that transaction)
