I'd have to give out a lot of gratitude.

No sooner do I get to know one carrier, then a new one shows up.

Carriers here are rotated and switched about often, from route to route and town to town.

My mail carrier is actually a good friend of mine and member of my national guard unit. He also delivers to a B&M a few blocks away. "Your mail is protected by the military".....I got a good laugh when he said that.
