I picked up a tough Eichstadt Sede Vacante double taler in exchange for a handful of talers last week. The taler was issued by the cathedral chapter of the prince-bishopric of Eichstätt after the death of prince-bishop von Zehmen in 1790. The names of the 15 aristocratic canons are displayed on the tree. Catalogued as DAV-2212.

always loved this one - I sold one decades ago graded Choice Unc - wudda graded today MS64 - wish I had not.
