    Isn't the eBay final value fee the same for the item AND the shipping charges?

    I thought that the FVF was taken off the hammer price only, but I could be completely wrong.

    If fee avoidance isn't the reason he's doing it, then the only other possibility is that he's trying to snare an unwary buyer. image

    That is correct. Either the seller doesn't realize ebay changed their policy sometime back or he's an idiot.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    eBay changed the policy like over half a year ago to hit the FVF +Shipping costs so folks can't dodge the fees. So that is why you just move everything you can from on eBay to off eBay.
