coin obv featuring design based on regents initials

that's the cool thing about being a US person interested in darkside, so many amazing designs.

I remember one particular issue being REALLY taken by the obv design? featuring someone's initials, but I forget who. I think it's an older type and a queens initials?

I'm drawing a blank and I'm sorry for my pedestrian description. can you help me out?

I remember thinking it was an expensive coin and there'd be no way in heck I could ever snag one :S

This one? A 1601 pledge portcullis halfpenny with the ELIZABETH R monogram. A super little coin with the provenance traceable to the Earl of Pembroke (d.1733) collection via 15 or 16 other collections. This coin has virtually the same history of ownership as SwK's rose reverse pledge halfpenny, both going back to the same person albeit his by a slightly shorter route.
