1985?

Hey guys. I have a question about 1985 Topps Baseball.
I busted a box the other day and I got 6 blank backs in the box. They look like they are only worth about 1-5.00 each so its not a big deal item at all.
My question is how common was this to find in the packs? Anyone esle pull these out of packs?

  • From 1985 until now I have opened a vending case, around 30 wax boxes, 30 cello boxes, and 50 rack boxes. I have never pulled a blank back myself.

A quick search of just Topps baseball on eBay for blank backs turns up over a thousand listings. But I have not personally encountered one in a pack

I DON'T see them as common but not much value. I do like thing like that and see them as cool.

I think blank backs are pretty cool and have a few in my collection.

I'm sure I have opened thousands of packs and have never pulled one from a pack. I would guess that most are discovered in the factory and leave it through the back door before they ever get packaged.
