<< <i>I bid $10,000. If anyone wants to mess with the guy, feel free to bid me up.

looks like you weren't the only bidder the seller didn't want to purchase their fine item lol

<< <i>Selling history of Yugioh cards, nothing over $20, and voila! A Classic collector coin of condition rarity just appears magically, and sells for a fraction of real world value!
it didn't sell. i think the seller just ended the listing as item SOLD. LOL
i was watching it and it had around 14 hours left.
with so many people bidding it up, the seller just knew the gig was over.
and is now on my radar.

click the link in the OP and you will see this: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item was sold."

<< <i>Yep. Seller cancelled all but 3 bids, possibly hoping to fool the high bidder in to thinking that they got a helluva deal. Hopefully the high bidder isn't that stupid. >>
i'll be watching feedback for whatever that is worth

thanks bob. i looked at that previously, but since you posted it i looked it over again and found directories and sub-directories and much much more information. This will significantly increase my database (possibly several times over) for counterfeits and a lot of their authentic counterparts, not a small deal at all. thank you.

$960 is when i started pushing as far as my accounts would allow until the bids were removed.
i honestly think the seller may have known some or all of the bidders since none of the 3 original ones were removed, but every other bid afterward was. a strong coincidence maybe.
edited to add:
the amounts in the canceled bids section weren't entered as max bids, but incremental over about 20+ bids or so from many different bidders past the $960
