1986 Grocery Cello packs?

I have seen older cello packs with no advertising on the front of the pack, but it seemed standard practice in and after the 80's. So are these packs legit?

Those look like nothing I ever saw back in the late '80s. Stay away.

  • I can't tell how thick the packs are. They might be the thin cellos that had the sugarless gum in wrapper in the middle.

You could contact the one buyer who bought two of the "bricks" to see if he has any opinions or knowledge about them. The seller left him feedback after the sale, but the buyer has not yet returned the feedback. Then the buyer bought another cello pack (1984) a week later, again received feedback from seller, but did not return the feedback.

Maybe there was a reason the buyer did not leave feedback--or maybe he just hasn't left it yet. In any case, he might could give his opinion on what he received.

I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Anyone who would fake packs of 1986 Topps baseball would have to be out of their minds.
