It's Gotta Be The Shoes

I wanted to share my two recent pickups. I've been a huge Jordan fan every since I was in high school in the mid to late 80's. I used to stop by Cumberland Farms almost every time I was on my way home from visiting my girl friend in the winter of 86-87, because they had fleer basketball. I would purchase 4 or 5 packs at a time, I built two sets as well as pulling several Jordan's. In the early 90's my dumb ass sold all those cards for basically nothing. Today I'm happy to say I was able to pickup a Jordan from a board member who pulled the Jordan from a pack from the recent group rip. A big thanks to Dave "70ToppsFanatic' for selling me the card.

I also picked this 86 Star Jordan, I loved the color and centering of this beauty

Eric, I bought the Star Jordan on Ebay from Higbees and I also purchased a Barkley Star rookie. I've been migrating over to basketball of late.

Nice! I've got a similar story. Loved Jordan as a player. Collected his cards before the first Becket came out. Had the complete set. Traded it for a baseball deal that "I just couldn't refuse".
