good or bad buy on this Henderson rookie???

Rickey was my baseball hero growing up. when i was eight my mom had a rummage sale and i sold lots of my toys so i could go to the lcs and buy his rookie for $80 . I've been waiting for a nice signed rookie since then, and i think i did good with this including inscription.

I think the inscription alone is worth the price. Even if you did overpay (not saying you did because i do not know what his autos go for) I think it is one of the cooler autos. I say it was a good buy.

over in scn there's a rickey signing at $85+$45 for inscription. i think you did fine, i've seen straight rickey signed cards go for that much. the seller has connections to rickey.

Derrick ... I think you paid a good price for the card, especially with that inscription. The auto itself does not look real crisp, but I still think you got a real nice item. That's something that you should keep in your PC forever. It's not too often that you can obtain something so nice from your childhood idol. CONGRATS!
