Collecting by the Numbers

I pulled this card from a pack a few months back

Madison Bumgardner Golden Future Relic

Its a relic limited to 50, but noticed it was the 50th card. Does anyone here collect specific numbers within a series? Such as the first ones? I know collectors like those 1/1, but what about a 1/50? I havent done it, but just wondering if anyone here searches for specific numbers?

I like to pick up cards with my favorite players jersey number, Killebrew #3, but I don't go overboard.

I've seen folks pay a premium for 1/x, x/x, and (jersey number)/x.

For Exquisite basketall singles, there is at least one big $$$ bidder for 1/xxx cards. I think jersey numbered cards are the most popular in most cases.
