Help with Possible 1873 Open 3 dot error?
Had aquired an amazingly beautiful uncirculated 1873 Open 3 some time ago for about 9 dollars. Ending up getting PCGS to grade and they came back as Cleaned but uncirculated details. I guess I split the difference on that one. However when looking over the reverse of the coin I noted that at the base of the wreath just to the left of center one of the leaves had a "dot" on it. This dot was visible from every angle. I dug forever looking for another similar but only found one other as a 1873 Open rated 64RB NGC and CAC. No mention of the "Dot" Hoping someone here may be able to see what I'm seeing and shed some light on this mystery.
Any help appreciated.
