Fresh poppage for me:

10 1 20655187 MINT 9 1976 TOPPS 341 LOU GEHRIG ALL TIME ALL-STAR Card

I am puzzled on the evidence of trimming for line items 5 and 6. I will have to review those when they come back. Line item 1 was a former "evidence of trimming" that I busted from an SGC 7 holder (the Bishop meets minimum size requirements and from my review, is not trimmed; it is properly holdered now).

Overall I am pleased. I will probably sell the Yaz but am torn on the Munson. The collector in me is leaning "keep" on that one since it is really nice and I am "tecnically" still working on a 72 set with graded stars. The Bishop is a keeper for my set and I will probably keep the World Series card as I have for some reason fallen in to collecting those. The McCovey is also a keeper and I am mildly surprised it did not end up in an 8.5 holder.

I will probably crack the Ashburn and resubmit. It was originally a 7 and is now a 9PD (which again shows the subjective nature that remains in grading). Carry on.

Matt

Was the PSA 7 that turned into a PSA 9 PD submitted prior with a request for no qualifiers?

No. It was submitted as a "straight" submission.

I've always liked the 71 McCovey. Just a nice looking card.

I told you before...."Stop trimming those Ken Holtzman's"

    Matt,

Nice hit on Munson. Depending on the rest of your '72 set, why not sell the Munson for $250.00 - $275.00, pick it up in an "8" for ~$40.00 and use the other $200.00 to get graded stars that you need for your set.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

That is a good idea, Doug. I had thought of that too. I have more to chew on with that.

No kidding Mickey, I am just dying for a PSA 10 68 Ken Holtzman. LOL.

Way to go on the Munson....a 10 would have made your year though.

I'd keep the Munson card--a scarce card that's like money in the bank! If it were a low pop common I'd sell it but that card will always retain its value.
