How to Know the Real Worth?

I have a 1981 Topps, #302, Perconte/Scioscia/Valenzuela. According to this, the worth is anywhere between $10 - $2000. That's quite a range. I have not gotten the card graded yet, but it looks like between a 9 and a 10. Can anyone help me minimize the vast expanse between $10 and $2000? Thanks
Daniel

Last couple of 9's have sold for between 70-100 bucks
The population report is as follows. most people feel there cards are actually more valuable or have higher grades than they will actually get.
THERE ARE NO PSA 10's currently in existance for this card. Having not seen the card I would say you are likely to have an 8 that is worth maybe 10 bucks
