If you have a little time to kill, this link is a bit fun. It's 2001. Not sure if it's the old site before they shut it down or if it's this new site. Not sure why it still works but parts do. Some cool names on the page but I can't view the threads. The member list at the bottom of the page still works. It's a fun read. The navigation drop down still works for some stuff. Some of the open forum can still be viewed. I'm thinking that most of the early days were lost. I had a lot of fun just looking around. Old CU page.
Larry, based on the screen shot of the forums back in 2001 I was able to find this old thread. Looks like the mystery of who was #1 might be solved. Here's a quote from Greg in that post:

What I'd like to know is how many members are actually still active? Whenever you log in, it tells you how many members are actually online at that time. I've never seen it more than 250. That's including ALL Forums on this site. With over 35,000+ registered here, only a typical 150 (avg) actually online at any given time is really the more telling story imo.

That little mouse 'roll over' trick did not work for me...or I'm doing it wrong. Either way, I can't tell but I know my number isn't real low, but Sept. 2001 join date is still over 10 years.

OK, I did the "hover" over all the icons, both with the right and left buttons and just being over them - nada, zero, zilch, nothing, etc.(maybe this describes me). I feel so stupid.

Lance, I went to my PM history, clicked on your pm's, hit reply & at the top your profile # magically appeared.
I think there's a little genie at the PM function that waits to give everyone's profile #. He's the same guy that turns on the refridgerator light when you open the door.

My ID would thus be 93,132... problem is, there aren't half as many people registered on the forums. Huh.
